I can't say enough about Tracy St. John. I've read over a dozen books by this author and rated each and every one 5 stars. I wish I could give more. This author has more imagination, creativity and writing ability in her little finger than I have in my entire body (and that's pretty big). I purchased all of the books available on Amazon which should show you that I stand behind this author's work.After reading the other series of books, I was undecided whether to purchase this series as well. Since these stories were originally published on the author's blog, I hesitated to pay money for these Kindle versions. I'm so glad that did.
Ms. St. John is my favorite writer for this genre. Period. End of story. Despite the fact that this series of books is actually one very long continuing story for the central character Shalia, it is anything but repetitious. As you may suspect, there is a lot of heart-warming, tear-jerking, pulse-pounding action in every book. Shalia's life following the destruction of Earth has the ups and downs that are as wild as Earth's leadership's actions to annihilate everyone rather than face war against aliens. Each story ends in a logical break, however that's not to say that each book has a HEA or HFN ending. Rather, the book's conclusion leaves open the next installment of the series. It's difficult to put down simply because you are looking forward to more of the story.
If you like alien romances with hot sex, hot aliens and hot action do not hesitate to start reading this series. I hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I do since I consider this to be one of the best buys I've made on this site. Brava!

A good story. However I would like to read about when she gets to her new home and who she ends up with.
I loved reading this series, from beginning until the end of this series I had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen!

I absolutely love Tracy St. John's books. Seriously if you haven't tried her books and you love a good action, suspense, love story, and sci fi you will love them!
I rate this book a five star. I am not disappointed so far now looking forward to reading book 7. This female is very strong and to show these aliens she is not weak.
I started the book thinking that after Book 4, there was going to be a lull in the life of Shalia. I was proven wrong. This was even better than the last. I began reading this mid-morning and it is now early evening and I have just finished. Yeah, it was that good. At least to me. There are still a few errors that surprise me but they are few and easily overlooked because you are under the book’s thrall.
